A one hour presentation by the expert geologists of the Dolomites UNESCO project: a real journey through time and space with breathtaking images unravelling the splendour of the Dolomites.
The full program of outdoor activities proposed by the Consorzio Val di Zoldo Turismo will also be presented during the evening. Entry is free for everyone.

SNOWSHOEING THROUGH TIME

• Friday, 6 January 2012, at 8:45 am from Passo Staulanza, return expected at 12:30 pm;
• Friday, 24 February 2012, at 8:45 am from Passo Staulanza, return expected at 12:30 pm.

A unique, educational opportunity to discover how the Dolomites were formed and to understand their deepest origins, whilst having fun on snowshoes in a totally Dolomitic landscape. A GeoGuide and a mountain guide will accompany you during the entire trip.
Snowshoes and poles will be provided, however, you will need to wear a pair of winter hiking boots.
The maximum number of participates is 18 (minimum age 8) and the cost is 20 € per person, 15 € with a Val di Zoldo Turismo discount voucher. A FAMILY DISCOUNT can also be obtained: a reduction of 50% for the second child.

GEOSKITOUR

A fun day skiing together from one piste to another around the majestic Civetta mountain discovering it’s deep and unbelievable origins. A GeoGuide and a ski instructor will accompany you during the entire trip.

The maximum number of participates is 18 (minimum age 8). Meet at the chairlift with full ski equipment and a valid ski pass.

“CRIS” CROSS COUNTRYING THE DOLOMITES

Sliding on cross-country skis through silent, snowy forests and prairies surrounded by the wonderful scenery of the Dolomites and understanding its many secrets. A GeoGuide and a Nordic ski teacher will accompany you during the entire trip.

The maximum number of participates is 18 (minimum age 8). Meet at the chairlift with full ski equipment and a valid ski pass.
