FAQ

Where are the rooms located?
We are in the small, sunny village of Fornesighe, in Val di Zoldo at 1000 meters above sea level. The rooms, like the apartments are all in the same labyrinthine building.

What facilities do the rooms offer?
Because the rooms are not newly built, we have had to renovate and adapt the existing spaces and thus every room is different. However, each room has its own private bathroom, equipped with a shower, hairdryer and soap (not all bathrooms have a bidet). There is also TV with a digital and satellite receiver, and WI-FI connection is available.

Are pets allowed?
All well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we ask for a daily rate for their stay. They are, however, forbidden to sleep on the beds, and are welcome into the breakfast room if the other guests have no objection. We only accept dogs.

What's for breakfast?
We consider food to be an integral part of a journey, as a result we offer a full Italian breakfast with bread, butter and both homemade and non-homemade jams, cakes, cereals and yogurt, with apple or elderberry juice. We also cater for the lovers of a savoury breakfast, on request we provide eggs, often fresh from the local farmer, cheese and cold cuts.

Is there parking?
Fornesighe has kept the same roads, spaces and houses since the 1600s, when there were no cars. Nevertheless, a 5 minutes’ walk on foot and you will have crossed the village, so finding a parking space won’t be difficult. You can enjoy free public parking, the nearest being 50 meters away, and the furthest 300 meters away on a flat road. In any case, there is an area for loading and unloading, 20 meters from us.

Is there a sauna or an opportunity for a massage?
We have a sauna only available for our guests, and can have up to 4 people inside, we provide bathrobes and herbal tea. Upon request we can arrange for massages. Extra service upon payment.

.Are there any services for children?
If you notify us at the time of your booking, we can arrange a camping bed, a high chair and a backpack for children. During the summer there are several organised activities for children, and if you need a baby-sitter or a kindergarten, we will do our best to organise these services.

Are there any shops or restaurants in the village?
Fornesighe is a very small village, with an estimated 100 inhabitants, the nearest shops are 3km away in Forno or in Dozza. In the village you can find a bar, and we'll open, in the autumn 2018, “Nonna Gio”, a space reserved for our guests, where we serve a good aperitif, and with a reservation, you can eat something simple and appetising.

What services do you offer to discover the area?
We have, at your disposal, a good library, but above all it would be our pleasure to recommend the best walks, tailored to your needs and capabilities. Trekking poles, snow boots and backpacks are available.

What are the prices and are there any offers?

If you decide to stay with us for longer than a weekend, it would be a pleasure to show you our offers. To see the prices, please visit the “prices” page on the website.

Is it easy to arrive to the Dormì&Disnà?
Fornesighe is along a provincial road that leads to Passo Cibiana, perfectly maintained and clean during the winter. Despite this, you must not forget that we are in the mountains, and that Fornesighe is a village from the 1600s, and has remained very much unchanged (it does add to its charm!) since, thus the internal roads are a little narrow, but we have put up signs that direct you to the Dormi&Disna by the easiest route.

Is there an elevator?

We do not have an elevator in the building simply because the structure is too old and it would be impossible to accommodate. However, if you do have any problems please let us know and we will do what we can to find a solution.
